Thermometric Titration with OMNIS

Описание: Thermometric titration is an excellent alternative when potentiometric titration reaches its limits. For example, if complex or aggressive sample matrices are involved.

Every titration reaction is either exothermic or endothermic. The temperature changes as the titrant and analyte react. When all the analyte has been titrated, a difference in the rate of temperature change indicates the endpoint.
Thermometric titration (TET) can now be done with OMNIS titrators. This allows you to run them on the same system as potentiometric titrations. For example, you can determine the acid number of oil samples by thermometric titration according to ASTM D8045 and the base number by potentiometric titration according to ASTM D2896 on the same system.
