QRP Amplifier , many times operating QRP the idea of using only as much transmitter power as needed mean adding a little more . The 405 at 50 watts is just what is needed. I have added a keying circuit to my 405 that will key the big KW amplifier and sometimes that is needed . I have 5 watts , 50 watts or 1KW options. I use this with my Argonaut Ten Tec 509 QRP transceiver.
