Luminosity masking can help a tough or tricky photo together. They can be combined with HDR blending to give images more dynamic range, lift dark shadows, and replace blown-out skies. As with any editing tool I find that using it gently will give you the best results when it comes to blending in exposure. In this video I will demonstrate how I would use it in a recent twilight shoot I did.
