Authentic Tadke Wali Moong Daal Recipe || Moong Daal Tadka Recipe || Kitchen Delicious
Ingredients:
Oil 1 tbs
Onion 1
Garlic 1 tbs
Cumin 1 tsp
Curry leaves 4-5
Tomato chopped 1
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Garam masala ½ tsp
Yellow lentil soaked for 30 mins 1 cup
Green chili 3-4
Coriander leaves 2 tbs
Water 4 cups
Ghee 2 tbs
Button chili 3-4
Garlic sliced 4-5 cloves
Cumin 1 tsp
Red chili powder ½ tsp
Directions:
In a pan, heat oil and add onions, fry them. Add garlic, zeera, curry pata and fry with onion until brown. Add tomato, turmeric, salt, garam masala and cook until tomatoes are soft. Add moong lentil and fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add green chilies, coriander and 4 cups of water and cook for few more minutes. Now cover and cook moong lentil until it becomes soft. Stir moong lentil in between until desired gravy. Dish out moong lentil in a bowl.
To prepare tadka, in a frying pan heat ghee/oil and add button chillies, garlic and zeera and then red chilies, fry quickly and add to the bowl of cooked moong lentil. Delicious tadke wali Moong daal is erady to serve.
