Inspired by Dr. Keith Baars' research findings and Emil Abrahamsson's insane results from his isometric training protocol for climbing, I decided to adapt what I learned for arm wrestling.
Q&A / Additional notes:
1. Throughout this entire time, I did NOT do any other wrist or finger training at all.
2. Outside of this isometric protocol, I was doing an arm wrestling peaking phase, which included high intensity lifts for backpressure and sidepressure.
3. The amount of force I used for the isometric was low enough such that I was not shaking throughout the 10-second hold, but still enough to "feel" like I was working. (this usually works out to around 50-55% of my 1rm force)
4. By the end of the month, the tendinitis pain in my hand and wrist had completely gone away. Even after the supermatch, it still remained pain-free. (albeit sore)
5. I felt significant pain relief starting from around week 2.
