during a playthrough of Lambda Fortress with my friend, i got bored and decided to do some micspamming but with a twist: instead of just plumbing in a normal boring audio file, i at first plumbed LMMS through it and started messing around with projects (as you can hear in the first chapter down below).
then i landed on messing around with foobar2000's other midi synths, specifically the ones that use (or simulate the sound of) FM synthesis chips
also we were in a discord call in the Furnace server so there's gonna be a few people that aren't me and Architect speaking
video recorded by architect, because my POV was way less interesting
chapters:
0:00 - LMMS GSM simulator shenanigans
0:51 - everything (LMMS, Furnace, foobar2000) going at once
1:06 - regular MIDI FM synth shenanigans and also some other stuff (primarily libADLMIDI, Nuked-OPL3 with OPL3W, and libOPNMIDI)
7:26 - singular OPN2 black MIDI
