In this video we take a look at an often overlooked security risk with many label printer tapes that use thermal transfer ribbons. In these types of tapes, the used transfer ribbon which is stored inside the cartridge will show copy of everything that has been printed which could be a somewhat significant security risk if the tape has ever been used to print anything sensitive and has not been disposed of securely.
