Daigo-ji Temple is located in Fushimi Ward, in the southern part of Kyoto City, about 25 minutes by train from Kyoto Station.
Since the Heian period, Daigo-ji has long been renowned as one of Kyoto’s most famous cherry blossom spots.
In the 16th century, Toyotomi Hideyoshi also held the famous "Hanami at Daigo” here.
Enjoy the cherry blossoms of Sanpo-in at Daigo-ji Temple in the warm spring of Kyoto.
