Recently, a netizen asked me how to use UE5's facial capture to drive Faceit rig and sent me a project for testing. I'd like to share the process with everyone.
The video demonstrates how to use UE5's audio-driven facial capture tool to drive Faceit's facial rig.
The main steps of the workflow are:
1. Convert the lowercase initial letters of Arkit 52 BS generated by Faceit to uppercase. Download link for the Python script used: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pyQn...
Note that the character must be selected and activated when running the script.
2. Use ArkitAutoRiger to build facial rigging.
3 . Perform audio-driven facial expression solving within the engine and export animation data using a plugin.
4. Import animation data using the ArkitAutoRiger addon.
