Fame Cooper was a life-long resident of Fairmont, WV. Her childhood was not an easy one yet by the late 1980's she had blossomed into an outgoing and loving teenager. At some point in 1989 something changed in Fame's life and she began to withdraw. Almost overnight she seemed to adopt an entirely new lifestyle...a lifestyle which concerned her family and friends.

On the evening of July 10th 1990 Fame sneaked out of her bedroom for a Saturday night on the town. She never came home. Five months later on November 10th 1990 her remains were found several miles away along Robinson Hollow in the small community of Barrackville. Her death was no accident and 30 years later unanswered questions still linger.
