Percorso: partenza dal rifugio Monte Baldo a 1.180 m. Sentiero in discesa (CAI 652, poi 685), attraversamento breve ponte costituito da 2 cavi, e visita alla appagante cascata Preafessa. Poco meno di 2km e si raggiunge all’attacco della ferrata Gerardo Sega. Le iniziali cenge che attraversano l’anfiteatro roccioso sono la parte più caratteristica, ed esposta, del tracciato. A 3/4 è presente il libro di vetta. L’ultima parte è arrampicabile. Una comoda carrareccia riporta al rifugio, passando per la chiesa Madonna della Neve, del ‘600
Distanza: 11,5 km (anello). Dislivello: circa 800 m, da 1.180 m a 649 m
Livello: Sentiero EEA. La ferrata è semplice, ma esposta, e non tutte le cenge sono assicurate. Da attenzionare la spessa polvere presente sulle cenge, sebbene non scivolose, e il fango nella parte finale che rende insicuri gli appoggi nell’arrampicare l’ultimo tratto
Equipaggiamento: casco, guanti da arrampicata, scarpe da avvicinamento, kit ferrata

Itinerary: departure from the Monte Baldo refuge at 1,180 m. Downhill path (CAI 652, then 685), crossing a short bridge made up of 2 cables, and visiting the rewarding Preafessa waterfall. Just under 2km and you reach the start of the Gerardo Sega via ferrata. The initial ledges that cross the rocky amphitheater are the most characteristic and exposed part of the route. At 3/4 there is the summit book. The last part is climbable. A comfortable cart track takes you back to the refuge, passing through the 17th century Madonna della Neve church
Distance: 11.5 km (ring). Altitude difference: about 800 m, from 1,180 m to 649 m
Level: EEA Trail. The via ferrata is simple, but exposed, and not all the ledges are secured. Pay attention to the thick dust on the ledges, although not slippery, and the mud in the final part which makes footholds unsafe when climbing the last section
Equipment: helmet, climbing gloves, approach shoes, via ferrata kit
