Despite being heavily outshot, the Pittsburgh Penguins found a way to get it done, defeating the Ottawa Senators 2–0 on Monday night at PPG Paints Arena.

Pittsburgh managed just nine shots on goal for the entire game but capitalized on timely chances and elite goaltending from Petr Mrazek to secure the shutout victory.

FIRST PERIOD
The Penguins struck late in the opening frame. At 18:27, Sebastian Aho buried a chance to give Pittsburgh a 1–0 lead, finishing a setup from Anthony Mantha and Sidney Crosby.

SECOND PERIOD
No scoring in the middle frame as Ottawa pressed offensively, but Mrazek stood tall, turning aside all attempts to preserve the one-goal lead.

THIRD PERIOD
Ottawa continued to push for the equalizer, pulling their goalie in the final minute. With just 20 seconds remaining, Yegor Chinakhov sealed the game with an empty-net goal at 19:40, assisted by Ryan Graves and Mrazek.
