Graduating amongst one of the top of his class at the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, there was little doubt what the then-focused young man would do in the years to come. Spanning a career of nearly three decades, the rise of a fresh inductee into the 63th Cavalry unit to a Lieutenant General of the Indian Army and a Param Vishisht Seva Awardee encompasses the story of a man who rose to the top by his own grit and hard work.
