Good news is worth sharing. 💙🐾
Recently in San Diego, Project Street Vet combined forces with Helen Woodward Animal Center for a free pet clinic event at Father Joe's Villages Neil Good Day Center, and a few local news crews including CBS8, KUSI News, and FOX 5 San Diego came out to witness what community care really looks like.
Together, we provided free exams, vaccines, supplies, and treated 60+ pets, including spay-neuter services to help keep pets healthier and prevent future hardship.
Pet parents gushed over their furry companions, and weren’t shy telling reporters how much their pets mean to them. “He is my world, my everything.”
“They are more than just pets…For a lot of folks experiencing homelessness they are a crutch and a lifeline” PSV Executive Director Danae Davis.
This is what happens when nonprofits, volunteers, and a city come together: real help, real hope, real impact.
