The Geth Trooper Soldier has had the unfortunate fame of making platinum difficulty easier than it is. The truth of the matter is that although that may be true in some instances there are still challenges worthy of the character. This is one of them. The Geth faction on Platinum is one of the hardest to beat as a solo and also the reason there are very FEW platinum solo's versus the Geth.

Here, I take the Geth Trooper Soldier build and I use the following weapons and tools. The weapons are the Collector SMG X to chip away at enemy armor and destroying Guardians. The Acolyte X to strip shields for easy burning and I include the Power Amplifier on the Acolyte to add even more juice to the Geth Trooper's flamer.

For the gear I am using the Geth Scanner since in this challenge I am using the Geth Trooper Soldier Tank build which doesn't spec into Hunter Mode. Phasic Rounds to help with shield stripping (mostly I didn't have any disruptor rounds. With this build the best rounds to use are Cryo Rounds, then Disruptors), and a Cyclonic Modulator IV for more shields and the Pistol Rail Amp III to give the Acolyte more damage. This is helpful with Phantoms as you want to strip their shields in one shot to get them to become vulnerable.
