Anca Bodzer was born and raised in Romania, but she has been living in Madrid (Spain) since 2008. She is the holder of a PhD in Translation from the University of Alcalá (Madrid) and she is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Anca has vast experience in project and program management and one of her main projects was the coordination of the Legitimacy Checks for the implementation of the European Directive on Falsified Medicines 2011/62.
Anca is passionate about Linguistic Validation and contributing to improving patient´s quality of life, building agile and resilient teams that can adapt to a fast paced environment and, last but not least important, she has a strong focus on customer experience. Currently, Anca is the Director of Linguistic Validation Operations at RWS.
Nicola Kotoulia is a medical translator and life sciences localization expert with over 20 years of experience. Specializing in Clinical Research & Trials, eCOA Migration and COA Linguistic Validation, she has developed a comprehensive expertise in managing and coordinating complex localization projects. Her career has spanned roles including translator, editor, quality assurance specialist, and project manager, allowing her to gain a deep understanding of the nuances and intricacies involved in the localization process. She loves the challenge of driving efficient, seamless completion of multilingual projects, leveraging skills, team collaboration, and passion for delivering quality results.
Ioannis (Giannis) Mitropoulos is a Production Team Lead at Translate.One, coordinating production teams in demanding localization projects, including Full Linguistic Validation, software localization and e-learning courses. Ioannis has been involved in multiple roles within the translation and localization industry for more than 15 years. Apart from his current role, he has also worked as a medical, technical translator and a translation technician.
Eleni Syntila studied Translation and Interpreting in the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting in Corfu, Greece. After her studies, she started working as an interpreter for the first years and then focused on translation, both as a translator and as a project manager in different companies. Since 2021, she has been working in Translate.One’s, former Commit Global, life sciences account as a project manager handling projects and coordinating the team in running clinical trials specific projects.
Tomislav Geršić is a clinical research professional with 15 years of medical translation experience, more than a decade of which within linguistic validation. He is the founder and managing director of Borliner, provider of clinical outcome assessment translation and linguistic validation, licensing and eCOA migration and consulting services for copyright holders, pharmaceutical companies and CROs as well as LSPs.
