Y las reacciones tanto negativas como positivas no se han hecho esperar. La muerte de Eren Jaeger nos descubre el verdadero plan de Ymir. Ella eligió a Mikasa como su libertadora. El retumbar termina y los titanes desaparecen de la faz de tierra para siempre. Sin embargo, la guerra no ha acabado aún. De modo que será responsabilidad de Armin, Mikasa y los demás, asegurar un futuro para su gente y para el resto de la humanidad.
