🎄 Cherry Crescent Ring
1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries, drained well and chopped
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls

Glaze
1 cup confectioner's sugar
2 Tbs heavy cream
1/2 tsp almond extract
chopped pecans and chopped cherries for garnish

Preheat oven to 375° F. Beat cream cheese, sugar and almond extract in a stand mixer. Stir in 3/4 cup pecans and cherries. (Save a few cherries for garnish.) On a floured surface, unroll crescent dough into one long rectangle. Fold the dough lengthwise in half; roll into an 18x12-in. rectangle. Spread filling to one inch of the edges. Roll up like a jelly roll. Seal at the seam.
Transfer to a greased baking sheet, seam side down. With a knife, cut two-thirds of the way through the ring at one inch spacings. Twist to show filling.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Make the glaze by mixing confectioners' sugar, cream, and extract. Glaze over the ring and top with extra chopped pecans and cherries.

🎄 Christmas Tea
6 cups hot water
1 tsp whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
6 tea bags
¾ cup orange juice
½ cup sugar
¼ cup pineapple juice
1 lemon, sliced
Place all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours. Remove the teabags after one hour. Serve with lemon slices.
