The Ride of the Rohirrim scene (The Battle of the Pelennor Fields) where Theoden's army charges a huge orc army outside of Minas Tirith. I made it look and sound like an old 8 bit video game. Complete with an 8 bit remix / cover of the music composed by Howard Shore.

I've always loved the battle of the Pelennor Fields scene in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. I especially love King Theoden's speech. And I've always loved the Rohan / Rohirrim theme, composed by Howard Shore. I started making a simple and short 8-bit version of the song, and thought it would be cool to have a little animation loop to go with it, but I got ambitious, so it turned into an entire remix of the music and scene as an old video game haha. I took inspiration for the visuals mainly from the Gameboy Advanced, but also from old NES Games and soundtracks.
