At the end of the village, where few people ever go, there was an abandoned house left empty for many years. The tiled roof had collapsed in patches, the walls were stained with green moss, and the rotten wooden door creaked whenever the wind blew.
After a setback, the couple and their young child had to leave the city, carrying a few worn bags back to their hometown. With nowhere else to go, they found that abandoned house—ruined and cold, but at least… it could shelter them from the rain and sun.
