S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl tells a story about survival in the Zone – a very dangerous place, where you fear not only the radiation, anomalies and deadly creatures, but other S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s, who have their own goals and wishes.

The mod is based on the well-known version "OGSE 0.6.9.3," but, as the developers emphasize, is actually a completely different mod due to the many changes. The switch to a new 64-bit engine with support for renderings from Call of Pripyat has been implemented. Mutants have been extensively reworked, and a new weapon pack has been added. Several existing quests have been completed, and new tasks have been added. "OGSR" also introduces many other new features.
