Описание: Brazilian President Vargas had been given an airship demonstration ride at one of the US Navy's bases in his country. President Vargas decided blimps were just what his country needed, given their huge coastline and trackless jungles. A group of Brazilian officers and enlisted men reported to Lakehurst, New Jersey, to attend the LTA training offered there. USN Training Film MN 6135 (1945) likely began as a project to show how the students were learning all aspects of LTA work - blimp erection, balloon erection and flight, car and engine overhaul, ground handling, and flight training. Brazilian personnel can be seen in most every segment of training. The film's later sections, discussing anti-submarine attacks, at-sea and jungle rescues, were likely filmed as part of other training films and simply added to this one, though the one-wheel rescue was shot entirely in Brazil.
