Fly Fishing Washington States Spokane River Below Town in May-Trailer for Prime Video [Episode #99]

Описание: This trailer shows us fly fishing for trout on a very warm afternoon in May, using streamers and large dry flies to catch and release Rainbows and a Smallmouth Bass. We start with Olive, heavily weighted streamers on a sinking line and a sink tip line to get deep on this big river. It is intimidating, but we pick a nice back eddy and focus on good looking water with a fast riffle coming into a deeper pool. The first fish is a really nice Smallmouth Bass but after that it is all Rainbows. We catch and release several fish that evening but soon run out of daylight. We return two weeks later in May and switch tactics to a large black Chernobyl Ant pattern. The new tactic pays off and we get some nice Rainbows to the net. A really fun evening on the Spokane River. We get flies and advice from the local Orvis Northwest Outfitters (https://nwoutfitters.com/) in Coeur D Alene, Idaho and Silverbow Fly Shop (https://www.silverbowflyshop.com/) in Spokane, Washington.
