The Shirley Chisholm legacy: how the Harris campaign is embodying 'collective political power'

Today, her legacy lives on through figures like Democratic frontrunner Kamala Harris, whose entry into the race has shattered fundraising records and triggered a massive spike in voter registration, says MSNBC political analyst and political strategist Juanita Tolliver. Like Chisholm before her, “Harris has an opportunity to stand in front of this coalition, who is looking to push her, and make history again,” Tolliver says.
