Induction furnaces are widely used because they are cost-effective and easy to operate. However, the final product of induction furnace steelmaking is highly dependent on scrap quality. So how can they no longer be picky about the quality of scrap?
To address this problem, our engineer developed the IF+LOD+LRF process. LOD is a newly invented furnace that is capable of decaburization and dephosphorization. The process can produce steel with a carbon content of less than 0.2% and a phosphorus content of less than 0.035%.
