However, the tire lacked grip when cornering, forcing him to overwork it while trying to maneuver his bike. On Sunday, he switched to the soft tire—the same choice as the Márquez brothers—but unfortunately, he had not completed enough laps to find the right setup for it.
Without a doubt, Bagnaia will spend much of the next two weeks analyzing Marc and Alex’s data, searching for insights to help him improve for the next two races in Termas de Rio Hondo and the Americas—tracks where Marc Márquez has historically been strong.
