Welcome to Music Coaching for Kids. This video features all six technical exercises with sheet music and counting tracks for the Trinity College London (TCL) Grade 5 Piano Exam. Listen to them all to help you choose which ones you want to learn and then use the timestamp links below to click on your chosen pieces to help you practise.
All our practice tracks have a metronome click running throughout the music video to help you practise counting the beat while reading, listening and playing along to the music. You will see counting tracks above the music throughout the video.
The idea is to practise playing along at a slower tempo at first, hands separately and then hands together. You can slow down and speed up the tempo of the track by adjusting the ‘playback speed’ under the ‘settings’ icon ⚙︎ in the YouTube menu bar.
