রোববার দুপুরে শহরের উজির আলী স্কুল এন্ড কলেজ মাঠে এ মেলার উদ্বোধন করেন অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক বাকাহীদ হোসেন। এসময় বক্তারা মানসম্মত শিক্ষায় সচেতনতা বাড়াতে শিক্ষক ও অভিভাবকদের এগিয়ে আসার আহবান জানান।

এ সময় জেলা শিক্ষা অফিসের উর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তাসহ শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থীরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। মেলায় জেলার ৬টি উপজেলা থেকে আগত বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান ষ্টলে অংশগ্রহণ করে।

Additional District Commissioner Bakhihed Hossain inaugurated the fair at the city's Wazir Ali School and College ground on Sunday noon. At this time the speakers urged teachers and guardians to come forward to raise awareness of quality education.

 At that time teachers and students of the district education office including senior officials were present. Participants from different upazilas of the district came from 6 upazilas of the district.
