Cape Town Road trip: Day 4/5 Hiking the Half Collared Kingfisher trail at the Ebb and Flow camp

Hi All
I was on the road again. This time to go visit Prasheen down in Cape Town for this birthday. So I decided to take the scenic route getting to him and revisit a couple national parks I have not seen in a few years.
I spent the morning of the 4th day on the road first trying to find the Knysna Turacos in the hiking trails around Nature's Valley and then when the frustration got the better of me I decided to visit the Birds of Eden sanctuary outside Plettenberg Bay.
I then moved camps to the Ebb and Flow camp in the Wilderness section of the Garden Route National park. Set on the banks of the Touw River, the campsite is absolutely beautiful and allows access to the Half Collared Kingfisher trail which turned out to be an almost 9km return hike up to a small waterfall. The hike is along the Touw river, with a river crossing by pontoon that you have to pull yourself.
