While us two rubber tramp Canadians 🇨🇦 were on tour in the States, we had a hoot travelling through the Mojave Desert just like Hunter S Thompson, minus the mescaline.
On this leg we started in beautiful Seattle playing at @MODESTMOUSE Psychic Salamander Festival at @RemlingerFarms to Ladner, British Columbia the next day to perform at @Barnsideharvestfest then we went back South across the boarder to Bishop, California to perform at Millpond Music Festival a few days later.
This song we recorded in a rattlesnake den, and kept our whits about us. Or maybe we didn’t as the spoons sound like a rattlesnake mating call.
Either way, we didnt get bit, and we played you this improv tune halfway through our 2nd 5 hour drive through the desert.
