US-Iran ceasefire sticking points: Tensions in Hormuz Strait threaten peace deal process

With unconfirmed reports of US forces sinking fast boats, the defence secretary insists operations are defensive, do not breach the ceasefire and will not enter Iranian waters, while Trump refuses to define a violation, saying Tehran “knows what not to do” amid fragile negotiations.
