Railey Beach & Tonsai Beach Thailand Vlog

Описание: So I kinda ended up in Railey Beach and Tonsai Beach with out really planning it. I got off the ferry from Phi Phi and was suppose to keep heading north to go back to Bangkok to meet up with Poy.

We talked on Valentines day the night before and I decided that I wanted to keep traveling with her after having a week to myself. She wanted to as well, but I was in southern thailand and had a ways to go to get back to her. I was looking up flights at a coffee shop and I was super frustrated because I didn’t want to spend 14 hours on a train going north.

I remembered some of my friend had told me that Railey Beach was there favorite place in Thailand and recommended that I go there. So I changed my planes and caught a cab to the docks to get a boat, because even though it not an island, you can only get there by boat.

I was super excited to head North either because I was really enjoy south Thailand and the island life. But I still wanted to be with Poy, so I tried to talk her into coming down to meet me instead of going back to Bangkok to pick her up. She wasn’t happy about it, but agreed to catch a bus the next morning and come down to meet me instead.

I really liked Railey beach but for some reason I didn’t book a place to stay before going, so when I got there I went to a restaurant to use some wifi and book a place. I called Poy and said that the place was really cool and that I would just wait for her here, and I didn’t care how long it took her to get here. Railey has like a Jamaica vibe all sort of reggae bars and hippie travelers. But as I tried to book a room there was nothing available, it was really strange. Someone told me that there was another town that was just a short walk through the woods.

I went on a hike to find the other town with no clue where I was going. I started walking and started sweating like crazy because I was hiking with both my bags threw a jungle. They said it was a 15 minute walk. It was more like an hour, and I get eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Once I finally got into the town, every hostel that I walked by was pretty simple without any walls or anything. The last thing I wanted was to get more bug bites, so I found a pseudo resort with a pool and four walls and a roof. It was the most expensive room of the whole trip and was basically like a concrete jail cell.

I took a walk down by the beach to get a beer, I was pretty salty about the walk through the jungle and all the bug bites. My feet and ankles had about a hundred bites on each foot.

I went back to the pool and went for a swim to get rid of the itching. Also you the wifi only worked by the pool, so everyone that was staying there was just laying by the pool watching movies and whatnot on their devices. The internet was incredible slow. I was in kinda of bad mood about all the things combined and realized as cool as the place was I no longer wanted to chill there and wait for Poy. So I called her and said don’t come down here, I am ready to get out of here.

I spent hours sitting by that pool making arrangement of boats, hostel the next night and then the cheapest flight I could find. But they weren’t that, cheap… turns out it was because I bought a first class flight. So I finally got out of there and went to another town the next night that was close to the Krabil airport.

The following day I got up ass early and caught the flight, I was really excited though because I was ready to be with Poy again. Landed in Bangkok and was off to find Poy…and that brings us to the next video… Chaing Mai.
