As the world observes LGBTQ Pride Month, Linda Mnisi looks into cases of same-sex intimate partner homicide in South Africa. Sechaba Rakoloti of Ekurhuleni was allegedly killed by his husband of 10 months in October 2020. His family says a conviction may not be possible due to critical evidence going missing in the docket. They fear their brother's husband, who is the suspect in the murder, could walk free.
