This was a fun troubleshoot on a Trane chiller RTHD series with a screw compressor. This is a water cooled chiller design. The AC call came in as chiller down and the building was getting hot. After doing all the basic checks I caught a controls breaker tripped due to controls short.
I definitely had a @HVACRVIDEOS "1 2 3 DONT BLOW UP" moment on this one.
