Experience the full bodycam footage from a shocking Mother's Day incident at Pleasant Run Park in Wheeling, Illinois. Police responded around 3:30 p.m. after several children—ages 2, 6, and two 9-year-olds—were found fatigued and sluggish after receiving candy from a woman in the park.
Officers quickly identified the suspect as Dagmara J. Rouse, 48, of Robbins, Illinois. Thanks to tips from vigilant citizens, Rouse was arrested the following morning at 11:41 a.m. She now faces 12 misdemeanor charges: four counts each of delivery of cannabis to a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and endangering the health of a child.
Medical staff confirmed that one child tested positive for THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis. During their search, police discovered "MOJO THC Milk Chocolate," believed to be linked to the incident.
