🛳️ Who needs trains when you’ve got ferries?
In this ridiculous but scenic challenge, we attempt to travel all the way from Woy Woy to Parramatta using ferries where possible— no trains allowed!
What would normally take 90 minutes by train turns into a multi-hour waterborne adventure across Sydney’s stunning waterways. From Woy Woy to Empire Bay, Ettalong to Palm Beach, Palm Beach to Circular Quay, and onwards to Parramatta Wharf, we put Sydney’s ferry system to the ultimate test — just for fun.
🎯 The rules were simple:
✔️ Start in Woy Woy
✔️ Avoid all trains
✔️ Complete the journey only by ferry (and the odd walk or bus to connect stops)
✔️ Bonus points for doing it with a smile
Along the way, we encounter delays, incredible views, and ask ourselves:
“Why are we doing this again?”
