In competitive Pokemon, Ogerpon-Cornerstone is the least used Ogerpon variant. With it lacking the option to use a held item that the grass type Ogerpon benefits from, or lacking great abilities like Water Absorb and Mold Breaker, it definitely is in theory the least useful of the bunch. However, there is a very interesting niche with it's Sturdy ability and it's moveset options. Ogerpon gets ability to both Play Rough and Knock Off which are very interesting in battle stadium singles on the Switch 2 pokemon Scarlet and Violet. They both hit Calyrex and Koraidon 4x effectively - threatening to instantly KO it off lead and live anything they want to click thanks to it's Sturdy. So today, we're gonna try it out!
