[Audi S8 V10 5.2l ] Catastrophic failure avoided! - Diagnosing and fixing the timing chains

Описание: We strip down a 5.2l V10 engine in the Audi S8 — the car came in originally to us for a dyno run, and then carbon clean and stage 2. But as you’ll see in this video, what started as a straightforward tuning job very quickly turned into something much bigger when we heard a metallic knock at the back of the engine.

TLDR - This is what we found from the strip down - this tensioner was beginning to become slack which reduced its efficiency to keep the chain tensioned, which was causing the metallic knock on the engine - and would have failed over time causing catastrophic damage. So luckily we managed to diagnose this and replaced all the components with brand new genuine parts.
