Low cost RTL-SDR passive multistatic DAB radar.

Описание: Qantas Flight QFA612 on the 19/05/2014 captured with two RTL2382u USB dongles, basic off the shelf VHF aerials and simple laptop with RTL_SDR and Matlab.

I took a similar approach to Juha and his radar at http://kaira.sgo.fi/2013/09/16-dual-c... and shared the clock between the two dongles as there really wasn't much hope trying to sync the two without some form of hardware hack.
The phase isn't perfect but it's close enough for my needs.
The antennae used were the cheapest ones I could find on the internet (~$30) and simply pointed at the plane as it flew by.
Processing wasn't incredibly fancy. There was no really significant pre-processing before it was thrown in to the complex ambiguity function and colour mapped out with matlab/octave.
Captures were synchronised as best as possible with a script (~4000 samples apart at 204800S/s) and recorded for 60 seconds. The video was done at 25fps with an integration window of 500000 samples (~1/4s).
