Marley ADAM competing at the Siva Afi Aotearoa Fireknife Competition 2026.
Marley Adam is 14 years old and attends St Mary’s College in Wellington. Marley’s heritage traces back to the villages of Vaito’omuli and Vailoa in Palauli Savai’i, and she also has whakapapa to the iwi of Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa and Ngāi Tahu. She placed second in the Junior Girls category at the Toa Ole Afi Pati Levasa Fire Knife competition in Brisbane, Australia, in 2024. Marley also placed second in the Intermediate category at the Siva Afi Festival in 2025. This is her first time competing in the open women’s category.
