Welcome back to Lane 5: Work In Progress.

This week I’m digging into Proverbs 6:3–15 and what Solomon teaches about escaping traps, learning from the ant, and choosing faithfulness over worthlessness.

For years I was trapped.

• Trapped by church people’s expectations
• Trapped by manipulation
• Trapped by the golden handcuffs of my W2 job
• Trapped by people-pleasing

But Proverbs 6 gives a command:

“Escape like a gazelle from a hunter.”

So that’s what I’m doing.
