How to Build a Hydrofoil Board | Glassing the Deck (Video 9)

Описание: In this video, I move on to laminating the deck of the board — reinforcing the top side for strength, stiffness, and long-term durability.

The layup includes:
1 full layer of 6oz fiberglass
1 additional ¾ layer of 6oz fiberglass for added stiffness in the standing area
1 large carbon patch over the foil box and standing zone
1 smaller patch on the nose and tail to improve impact resistance

All of this is done by hand with epoxy resin, using DIY techniques that require no vacuum bagging or specialist tools — just patience and good prep.
