when two or more substance are mixed together and lie in same phase, uniformly distributed,all mixed substance lie in same phase as for example salt and water uniformly distributed in the same phase nobody can distinguish between the water and salt with naked eye in a homogeneous mixture, lemon juice, sharbat ,ruhafza , sugar solutions, vinegar etc
heterogeneous mixture: when two or more substance are mixed together then it's components shows different phase in mixture, unevenly distributed, as for example oil and water, sand and water etc are examples of heterogeneous mixture
