A Day In The Life: Frankie Dettori: Stradivarius, Enable and still going strong at 51

Описание: oddschecker teamed up with Sporting Index for a special edition of our ‘A Day in the Life’ series ahead of Royal Ascot 2022, tracking legendary flat racing jockey Frankie Dettori.

With over 3,000 winners to his name, Frankie is widely regarded as one of - if not the most - successful flat jockeys of all time.

We followed him in the build-up to race day as he woke up early for a first ride in six months on Stradivarius, the eight-year-old trained by John and Thady Gosden who is chasing a fourth Ascot Gold Cup in what will be his final outing at the Royal Meeting. After his ride out in Newmarket we followed him to Sandown racecourse where he was riding rising star of the paddock Emily Upjohn for the first time.

Frankie now has his eyes set on Royal Ascot with one final shot at the Gold Cup on Stradivarius.
