Shopping experience in Southall, UK, during Pandemic, August 2020
When I visited London for family obligations during summer 2020, I discovered in the UK that people had a reasonably normal life in spite of the Pandemic. Not very many people were wearing Face Masks. Nevertheless, I decided to visit Southall in the western part of London. I had a very pleasant shopping experience in Southall. The Southall Broadway Street has lots of fabulous ethnic fashion and gold Jewelry shops. Especially for South Asians, it is like visiting their home town in India and Pakistan. Also it is famous for authentic South Asian food and restaurants. Normally not very many Caucasians visit there, as may be it is too much of a culture shock experience for them. Be not afraid. This is a highly recommended street to visit to experience South Asian culture.
