Suno’s v5.5 update introduces its long-awaited native “Voices” feature, a seamless vocal cloning tool that lets users generate AI songs using their own singing voice instead of preset singers.

To use it, head to the Create screen, click the new “+ Voice” button, then “+ Create Voice.” Record yourself singing (or upload a clean 30-second to 4-minute audio clip—90 seconds to 2 minutes with plenty of vocal variety works best), trim the sample, accept the consent terms, speak the short verification phrase aloud to confirm ownership, name your voice, and save it.

Once created, your custom voice appears in the selector for any new track; simply choose it, adjust the Audio Influence slider (around 80–85% for the closest match), add your lyrics and style prompt, and hit Create—resulting in songs that finally sound unmistakably like you.
