Bob Ejike is a Nigerian-born Italian, UK-based writer, artist, broadcaster, and pre-Nollywood pioneer whose creative career spans literature, film, music, and media. A respected cultural voice, he is known for championing storytelling as service, guided by a philosophy of substance over controversy.
In the early 1980s, Ejike made history as a writer and producer of one of Nigeria’s earliest home-video films, helping lay foundations for what later became Nollywood. Beyond film, he has worked as a television presenter, musician, and community advocate, using art to inspire dialogue, healing, and social reflection. He continues to create, mentor, and contribute to cultural development both in the UK and internationally.
