It Has To Be This Way (The Lost Mix)

My original mix of "It Has To Be This Way" was uploaded not long before this one, and was listed as Public in the visibility section of YouTube's creator dashboard. This video is actually the second version of the mix, with some slight adjustments from the first one. Unfortunately, the original mix was hit with several content ID and copyright claims not long after it was uploaded. If I remember right, it barely lasted three months before it was blocked from view worldwide by the companies who claimed ownership.

Seems like they wouldn't make any ad revenue that way, but I digress...

Anyway, because the old version was blocked worldwide, I decided to delete it. I didn't re-upload it because I didn't want more copyright issues, and frankly, I liked this version of the mix better anyway. I've always been afraid to list this video as Public, because I'm fairly certain it would meet with the same copyright issues the original mix did, but now that YouTube is making all old Unlisted videos into Private videos, I guess I'll have to take a chance and see what happens.

So long story short, YouTube's copyright claims have screwed this song over before, and I suspect that it will happen again, but they might surprise me. It's ironic, because that's just the sort of "legal bullsh*t" that Armstrong wouldn't let get in his way, but at this point in time, so long after this video was uploaded, the irony might be...
