This video will help you to understand the requirements of your EOY Reading exam and explain how to approach the exam.
Key points:
1 hour (1 hour 15 mins for Extra Time)
30 marks
Read two texts and answer short (1-2 marks) and long (10 marks) questions about the texts and the techniques the writers use
Read and highlight the two texts carefully
Use a PEE paragraph structure (or similar)
Focus on the techniques the writers use to help you analyse - BEINAFOREST and SOAPMAPS techniques in particular
Check your work at the end
