Police officers in Eldoret have disarmed a prominent farmer and a veteran politician Jackson Kibor following a Thursday gun drama involving him and his son. Kibor who was found supervising activity on his farm in Kabenes was grilled for hours before his firearm was impounded. In the video recorded by a phone camera Kibor is seen drawing a pistol and shooting three times in the direction of a man armed with a machete who was later identified as his son Ezekiel Kipng’etich. Their quarrel is believed to have stemmed from an alleged land dispute.
